It serves as a reminder that the kingdoms we build without God’s foundation will ultimately fall. All empires built on self-glory eventually fall—no matter how strong they seem. Through the humbling story of Nebuchadnezzar’s madness and eventual restoration, A Kingdom of Sand warns us about the dangers of arrogance and that our lives are ultimately fragile without God at the center.
